Our Approach

Our coaches are select carefully, all highly experienced and balance structure and technique with intuition and connection.

We believe the model, method or tool does not directly cause the change; rather it facilitates a shift in perspective which leads to true insight and inspired action for the coachee.  Individuals who engage in a coaching relationship can expect to experience fresh perspectives on personal challenges and opportunities, enhanced thinking and decision making skills, enhanced interpersonal effectiveness, and increased confidence in carrying out their chosen work and life roles.

Our Coaching Ethos

We adopt a non-prescriptive approach to our models, methods and tools; they are used as a stimulus to facilitate the coach and coachees own resourcefulness, whilst maintaining a grounding in coaching theory and psychology. These include:

  • The ability to see the coachee as fresh in any moment – realising that from session to session, moment to moment their needs evolve and shift
  • Listening ‘behind the words’ to connect with the coachee, to enable insight to guide both the coach and coachee
  • Balancing ‘serving’ and ‘pleasing’ of the coachee
  • Communication and connecting with no preference for either words or silence
  • A realisation that we all have a consistent unlimited access to untapped resources that can create a fresh experience of any situation and circumstance in any moment

What is the difference Coaching .v. Mentoring?

Coaching is enabling someone to unlock the resources in themselves in a non-directive manner where the coach does not use any experience they might have on the subject matter.
Mentoring is using a coaching methodology, attitude and skills to make someone more effective, however the mentor will be more knowledgeable and directive and will use their experience of the subject matter.
