The concept of team building can encompass many approaches and outcomes. So the first question to ask is:
What do you want to happen as a result of the team building workshops?
The answer could contain a combination of the below:
create a vision and strategy with my team
enable my team to understand a vision and be more aligned, internally and / or externally
enable my team to communicate more effectively
understand how my team needs to behave to ensure they deliver against the goals
set goals and roles within my team
understand team member's strengths and development needs
understand the best way to motivate the team
enable my team to be engaged, empowered or engergised
work with my team to create a strategy or plan an initiative, and determine how to communicate that to the rest of the organisation
