What was the brief? Basildon Renaissance Partnership (BRP) has responsibility for coordinating the regeneration of Basildon in Essex. The Nethermayne Corridor is a key area where there is a vision to create a Health and Education Gateway with world class health and social care innovation. Our role was to identify and engage stakeholders to achieve buy-in to the vision, and to establish the feasibility of the project
What did we do? Following rigorous desk research we undertook wide-ranging stakeholder one-to-one engagement, stakeholder facilitation workshops, established internal communication via regular Board Papers and presentations and external communication via regular project updates and Stakeholder Advisory Group meetings. The results: Increasingly widespread awareness and strong commitment to the vision, Stakeholder steering group established, concept feasibility established, go forward delivery options identified and evaluated and a framework for project delivery established
